We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead and oversee school-based programming for students with autism. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising evidence-based behavioral and educational programs that support student growth and success.

Responsible for:

  • Training Teachers, RBTs, and Parents
  • Performance Evaluations for RBTs
  • Advance Academy students

Main Function: Develops and oversees programming for students with autism in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise classroom staff in utilizing ABA principles and procedures in a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with the Education Director when developing programming and staff training
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments
  • Develop and implement behavior support plans
  • Provide support for classroom staff and related service professionals
  • Provide supervision for RBTs, BCBA candidates, and university practicum students
  • Participate in the intake process to assess and evaluate potential students
  • Provides fieldwork supervision for BCABA and BCBA candidates
  • Participates in SEP meetings as indicated
  • Facilitates development of visual supports for home and in-school use
  • Monitors behavior data collection and graphing, assists with the development of behavior and communications goals to be included in SEP plans
  • Implements a schoolwide PBIS type program utilizing the teen club and other social opportunities on campus
  • Other duties as assigned

Organizational/Departmental Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with all faculty and staff, including teachers, administrators, related services personnel, and parents
  • Must be fluent in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience with various assessment tools (e.g. VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc.)
  • Ability to appropriately address maladaptive behaviors, create behavior plans, and assist faculty/staff in crisis situations
  • Ability to implement and train staff to use positive behavioral supports (token economy, point system, etc.)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and work within established deadlines
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • CPR/First Aid

Experience, Education, and Other Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – REQUIRED
  • Current BCBA license in the state of Georgia – REQUIRED
  • Experience/training in educating children with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities preferred.

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
