Join the Matthew Reardon Center for a workshop featuring attorney Julia Sullivan of the DeVetter Law Firm. This workshop will cover the topic of Special Needs Trusts, including:
- What is a trust?
- Why trusts are important?
- Types of Special Needs Trusts
- Funding Special Needs Trusts
- Ancillary issues such as ABLE accounts and Custodial accounts
Held on Tuesdays throughout March, April, and May, the Together We Thrive Workshop Series brings together trusted local professionals to address topics critical to individuals with autism and their families. Sessions begin on March 3 at 12 p.m. at the Saint Francis of Cabrini Catholic Church Parish Hall within the Matthew Reardon Center and will cover a wide range of subjects, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), advocacy, occupational therapy, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), transition planning, employment, and access to community resources.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required to attend.
