Advocacy

At The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism (MRCA), Advance Academy is central to our mission of educating and supporting children with autism. But our commitment extends beyond the classroom. Through advocacy, we help families navigate the often complex world of special education, ensuring students receive the services and supports they need to succeed.
Our Advocacy Program strengthens MRCA’s role as a community leader, giving families a stronger voice, guiding them through IEPs and 504 plans, and fostering collaboration with schools, agencies, and policymakers. This work amplifies our impact far beyond our own walls.
Advocacy services are provided at no cost to parents, thanks to funding from the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).
